Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs can include an IP address, browser type, requested pages, and timestamps. Aggregate use helps diagnose errors and show which pages are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where used.
How Information Is Used
Information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
County portals, Washington agencies, libraries, archives, and outside search services apply their own privacy policies. Data submitted after following a link is governed by that destination. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising vendors may receive the automatic data described above. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it.
Safeguarding Visitor Data
Connections are encrypted, and logs are kept only while needed for the stated purposes. Because the site has no visitor accounts, it stores no account password or user profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Your location may provide rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, specifically governs consumer health data and does not turn every public record into site-controlled data. We can search our contact mailbox and logs for a request made through the Contact page. Records held by Washington or Pierce County remain with the custodian and are generally handled under the Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, its exemptions, and any record-specific law.
